Who's it for? An all-round SUP for riders who want the ultimate in convenience and storage without compromising on performance.
||up to 95kgs
Half the Size, Double the Adventure. A game-changing SUP both on and off the water!
Ten years in the making, our mission to make paddle boarding even more accessible has been realised. Our revolutionary 9’6” Compact (patent-pending) is a step forward in what an inflatable board can be – a full-sized SUP which folds down to half the size of a conventional inflatable paddle board.
Based on our award-winning, all-round Ride 10’6″ MSL, the 9’6” Compact is 32”/813mm wide and 4.7”/120mm thick and provides the perfect blend of stability and manoeuvrability allowing you to make the most of any location and any conditions! Weighing in at just 8kg (board-only) and supporting riders up to 95kg/209lbs, it has never been easier to fold, roll and go on your next SUP adventure.
To achieve this completely new compact board we developed state-of-the-art trademarked technology, exclusive to the 9’6″ Compact. At the core of the board is a unique weaving process that creates an extra-high-resolution thread matrix. When combined with a super-strong but malleable outer layer and advanced quad stringer system – the result is a super-stiff board that rolls up to an ultra-small pack size.
THE 9’6” COMPACT PACKAGE INCLUDES THE BOARD, BACKPACK, FIVE-PIECE PADDLE, TITAN PUMP AND LEASH.
(Packed weight is approximately 12.7kg)
You can easily take a small passenger on board, which is why it’s a hit with family paddlers and those with furry friends. Or with our 6 point cargo tie-down system you can easily carry a whole heap of gear with you. Supplied with our industry leading Titan pump you can inflate your board in half the time with half the effort and once you are finished paddling the board packs down neatly to fit into our all terrain backpack making transportation and storage easy.
The Red embossed deck pad offers comfort and grip and a diamond cut rear section provides even greater grip and stability when performing step back turns or during occasional use in the surf.
HOW DOES RSS MAKE THINGS STIFFER
Our patented RSS, or Rocker Stiffening System, makes our boards up to 40 per cent stiffer by displacing the riders weight over a greater length of the board. It works by slotting two stiffening battens into pockets that are individually laminated on to the side of the board. The battens are attached to cords held down with velcro tabs, making them really easy to remove.
LIGHTWEIGHT BUT STRONG
MSL fusion composite and airtight coating, MSL involves fusing a second layer of hard-wearing polymer to the dropstitch core at the raw material stage, removing hand gluing errors. The high-tech industrial process saves almost 2kg in weight whilst making the boards stiffer at lower pressures. With our third generation of MSL material now in use, our boards are more durable than ever, if you don’t believe us then check out the video of us driving a 22 tonne digger over it!
TITAN – THE KING OF PUMPS
When you unpack your Red Paddle Co board for the first time, inside you’ll find the lightweight Titan pump. It’s the world’s best SUP pump and was created by our expert engineers to make inflating your board a cinch. The secret is in the dual-chamber system and high-flow handle, which pumps air into your board at up to 60mph, ensuring it inflates to the recommended pressure level while using less of your energy.
BAG IT UP
Our Red Original Backpack is a perfect travel partner for paddleboarders everywhere, with internal storage for travel paddles, multiple carry handles, integrated wheels and sherpa back pack system which can stored for transport and storage.
